Black Bear Hunts

Got a friend at work that is wanting to go somewhere and hunt black bear. Anybody have any suggestions for locations and/or guides?

Eastern NC. Still hunting only, baiting bears is illegal in NC,and they dont run dogs on his place, but they kill some big'uns! Never heard a bad word about his place.

Took my grandson to SE Alaska a couple of years ago on a D-I-Y black bear hunt. He took a 7'2", 550#, 11 year old boar that scored 21- 5/16". Also caught a 125# halibut a couple days later.
