Biscuits and Gravy

Been meaning to make some from a recipe I found somewhere, and since this was my last day of freedom in the kitchen, wife is on vaca, I decided today was it. Biscuits came out pretty good, the gravy was good but I think it could have used a little more pepper or at least a bigger grind or something, and the deer sausage may have also not been as spicy so IDK,. I couldn't find the roller, so I patted the dough down so I think that made the tops kind of weird, but they taste great.

Looks good. With deer sausage, cholesterol isn't too bad either. High in sodium though.

When I traveled a lot a few years back, I'd "judge" the town/area I was in by their biscuits & gravy.

looks great, cat head bisquits are hard to beat, I use to love making gravy with the sausage drippings but its too lean these days, bacon gravy with sausage on the side is my go to now. not that I get to eat it as often as I would like.
