Anybody else working birds to pass the time until next season? I miss it already and it's only been a month.

Nothing like watching a bird dog work! I miss my old Setter. Birds are all but gone here in East TN.

Nope, my pup is 4 month old, english setter. Trin to find some qauail to buy- close to Nashville or Jackson

Lots of grouse? That sounds promising. I hunt Cherokee Nat. about 70% of time and have about 150 pen raised quail to work. You guys have a dog?

Got my english setter at 7wks old. She was born xmas day.
Has a bouble black mask bottom outlined in orange. Mostly black ticking with orange tickin on lower legs. Field trial dog registry stock.
at work and can't use photobucket.
You willing to sell about 8 quail- don't know much about how to ship them.

Can't use photobucket either here at work, like to show off a pic of my pup. Yes, I'd sell you some birds, but, don't know how to ship either. Could definitely send you some wings through the mail for the time being. I'm not much into field trials, just like working the dog and hunting birds.

Never done field trials in the past.
If she turns out to be really smart just might try it.
I'll take some wings- will pm u

That will work 'til I can get some birds to you. I started my Brittany with a wing on a fishing rod for a while. Works well for whoa training. I would walk between her and the wing. Still do it every now and then. She's 8 months old and in my eyes a sharp little dog. PM me and we'll work something out.

Bet I've seen a dozen grouse since turkey season started. I don't bird hunt, but one of my curdogs has some german short hair in 'em.
