Bighorns!

In the Missouri River Breaks of Montana with my dad and brother hunting mule deer. We were glassing a drainage towards the lake and heard what we initially thought was a gunshot around the bluff from us. Then we heard it again, I told them maybe it was bighorns but assumed there was no way. We climbed above where we heard the banging and saw these two boys going at it. They cared less we were there. I was able to setup my tripod 50 yards above them and got a video of a lifetime.

I was fortunate a few years back to photograph a ram doing a lip curl ....we were headed to Montana too hunt mule deer and we went through the Badlands NP on the way... buddy of mine had a real camera with a nice lens....that pic was developed in b&w and hangs in our staircase with other family favorites....also saw a giant nontypical mulie while there....great place to visit.

We about had a BIG ram get in the convertible Mustang with us a couple years ago in the Badlands. He came bailing off of an embankment and my wife squealed like a kid he was so close.

I've only ever been in Oct/Nov or early May.
It always amazes me that they live there. Especially how hot it gets in the Summer.
I even seen a Merriam Turkey in the middle of that vastness once, not a tree to be found
