How has big sandy stayed out of the tier 2 mess? Is it a deal of somebody knows somebody. I figured 5,10,11,12 would make tier 2 blinds. Heck you could walk to 11 if you wanted.

Depends on when and if the dog food gets found.

I only bring the question up because i think it is odd they changed every other area with this mess but somehow left this one alone. I was curious if a certain legend had enough pull to keep this area out of it. I know everything else is on the good buddy system.

Just up the lake, the Duck River Unit still seems to draw ducks. At times they fly over my place in waves as they head over to the Buffalo River bottoms.

Because they pile corn up in there for them so the bird watchers are happy....

I don't know anything about Big Sandy, but the Duck River Unit has huge ag bottomlands, and the farmers must leave a given percentage of their crop standing, which is then flooded. Last time I talked to the Refuge managers, they said they usually have a 1/4 million ducks and geese.
