Good pick up for the Vols in a much needed category! Taking into account everyone that has entered the portal and what we've brought in with transfers and the class, I'd say we're at or slightly better than the break even on that balance sheet. Also Not saying there still aren't big issues needing addressed, primarily the secondary IMO.

I won't even pretend to read the tea leaves about what this does or doesn't mean for the coaching staff.

Yeah I heard a mention of that on one of the Volquest podcasts but haven't heard or read anything else about it. Glad he's sticking around that would have been a blow. He got exposed some in pass coverage this year (then again who didn't?) but he's probably the most important piece on that side of the ball with Bryce Thompson going pro.
