Big game check in

I still haven't seen any details on how the new big game check in deal works. All I've seen so far is "big changes are coming". I'm sure somebody around here knows details, so let's have it.

A Droid can be a bit finikey, but the directions listed on the site worked first time. See if I can get to use it on opening day (ha).

someone explain "big game harvest log" Is this something we need to print out or will it be on the check in sight?

A harvest log is attached to your new license but apparently you don't have to fill it out until you officially check something in

Silly question, do you carry the harvest log while in the field?

There is no requirement to carry it in the field. You are not required to fill it out before field dressing or transporting the animal.

You must check in the animal before the end of the calendar day.
