Been baiting this one up at the farm for a few days, had some dandy cutters on him. Shot 3 times just testing bullets in my 6.5 Grendel. I'll skin it out tomorrow to see the damage. 6.5 Grendel 123 gr ELD-M's. Going to have to figure out the failure to feed.

That hog was deaf or hungry! Nice shootin'

Lol, ours don't hang around like that. A mouse farts and they scatter to the wind.

My Grendel is rough on them. I use the 123 hpbt Hornady.

That's a good'urn for sure! You also don't have to look at that one very hard to know that pigs from over here have been transplanted to over there. Lots of European genetics in that one.

The audio is just loud on the scope for sounds close to it. Definitely not that loud walking up there. Just walking through green grass.

We need to switch to thermals instead of red light. What scope do you have?

Just keep posting those videos, absolutely love it. You might have said already but what kind of scope? Any not so expensive scope options like that?
I haven't looked at the market in several years, but when I got mine 7 years ago, the market was really opening up and competition was driving down costs. However, we all know how the china virus screwed everything up.

Pulsar XQ38. Ran me $3200 at the time I believe. A lot yes but I shoot alot of hogs. The farm I'm building on backs up close to the park so unlimited supply. That was essentially in my soon to be backyard.

Wow he looks a LOT bigger in the daytime! Great shooting! Those are pretty high end bullets you are using. I thought I was the only one that spent a lot of money on hog ammo. I have been using some of the Browning Tipped Solid Copper. I have for the last four years. Never had to shoot one twice with it! (I say that but after an "incident" I always shoot them in the head with my handgun regardless).
