I was blessed enough to harvest this old bruiser Monday night. Been hunting the same farm for 25 years and this is by far the best deer I've ever taken. He came into a oak flat chasing a doe right before dark. He was grunting his butt off and pushing her. 35 yard shot and he ran 75 yards and gave up the ghost. It was dark and He ran into a cedar thicket, I tracked him for 50 yards and pulled out until the next morning, found him 25 yards from where I stopped🤦‍♂️Green score of 144", he is main frame 8, with 5 scoreble stickers on his G1s, 21" inside spread. The trail cam pic is him from last year. Needles to say I am still grinning 😁.

Big congrats, sounds like a super exciting hunt with a lot of emotions throughout it all. I love the knobby character at the bases. Thanks for sharing with us.
