Killed this stud this afternoon in Grand Junction. By far the best action I've seen all year the past couple of days. My Turnip and Radish plots hadn't been touched 2 weeks ago and got out and checked them yesterday afternoon and they have been destroyed. All the bulbs were pulled up and most were eaten and some half eaten. Had a 2.5 yo 9 pt eating one last night and thought he was choking the way he was eating it. With the extension to the season, I'm actually excited to get to hunt a late season where the hard work of putting in food plots will pay off. Killed this stud 8 this afternoon around 2:15 but had seen him this morning out of range and decided to make an aggressive move on him this afternoon on the account that had a pretty good idea on where he would be bedded. No sooner as I got set up, he popped out and that was all it took. Extremely extatic seeing as I wasn't seeing squat early and mid season. But have progressively seen an increase of deer over my last couple of hunts (2 weeks in between) with today being the best with seeing 21 deer this morning. Several different bucks chasing and a several large doe groups. Almost reminds me of a season a few years back when we had a trickle rut. Nonetheless, don't be scared of CWD counties because there is still good hunting there.

Oh now you went and did it. You are going to have to boil your truck in peroxide and humid acid, and that still won't kill the prions! Great buck.

I haven't measured anything yet but I'll let y'all know what the tape reads. Any of y'all seeing an increase of deer/movement lately?
