Browning Primaloft. Well made, warm waterproof and priced right. Got mine from Wing Supply several years ago. Made in xxxl. Usually put on sale in the spring.

I have the stratus and fanatic by Sitka. I use the stratus set 5:1 just because it has to be extremely cold for the fanatic to go on
I bought the stratus set after talking with you and looking forward to trying them out this year.

I have the Pyre bibs from Badlands. Used them a couple times last year. Very warm
I had the Pyre set last year and they are very warm. Just didn't fit me well so I sold them.

I have the first lite solitude. Perfect for TN, they are warm to freezing for me, much lower with layers. Comfortable at 45-50

#1 Make sure the legs have a LONG zipper up the side. I tote my bibs into the stand and get into them before I climb. If its a long walk, I might wait an hour to cool down before I try and get in them up in the tree. With the long leg zips, I can easily put them on without taking my boots off, getting stuck halfway on, or making a lot of noise.
#2. Waterproof or not? I prefer waterproof. One and done, no need to carry an extra layer if weather turns wet.
#3. Material. Is it quiet? Does the inside material slide on over boots or other clothes easily?
#4. Pockets. Enough pockets and in the right locations?
Brand.... I don't care about brand as long as it scores well on the above.

Shame Cabela's is no longer Cabela's. I liked their super slam series bibs, unfortunately they are not made anymore.

Will be asking the same question when if mine ever wear out.

I think it definitely matters what your intended use case is. My bibs are for staying still and in one place. If you tried to walk around in them, you'd sweat to death. That said, I love them. I have the Rivers West Ambush bibs. Super warm and dry!

I got those Sitka stratus bibs. Pretty awesome. I like the Nomad ones as well have the jacket very warm but bulky. Although, once I finally pony up for the Sitka I am done looking for anything else... Definitely giving away my Mossy oak gamekeeper ones now.

Second this... The stratus system is the most versatile piece of gear i have ever owned. Layer accordingly underneath and you can make about anything work mid october on.

I've had UA gear for about last 10yrs but last yr got a nomad jacket. I'm very impressed with it only got couple outings in late December in the jacket but once my UA bibs give out I'll go with nomad.

Lot of good suggestions so far, mine is for the Sitka Stratus and Incinerator. With the right layering underneath, the Stratus can cover most any scenario in TN and the Incinerator fills in the niche for late season cold and wet (or if you decide to go to the midwest where the temps are more frigid). The Nomad Cottonwood is a really good in between set that is super quiet and very warm without breaking the bank.

Browning used to make a crazy thick polar fleece that was the best i had ever seen. If i could walk back to 1992 bass pro shops i would buy every pair they had

Depends on your budget. Nomad has great sales towards the end of November each year. The gear I wear the most mid to late season is Sitka. Stratus & Fanatic. I get cold easier than some. With First Lite base layers.

I had a gift card to BassPro and needed some new bibs a while back. I haven't been a fan of RedHead products in the past but liked the look of the RedHead Silent Stalker Elite bibs when I inspected it in the store. I'm happy with it; good quality and decent price.

It only has a back pocket and hand pockets. I don't use the back pocket when sitting; it is limited in pockets if that is something you are concerned about.

I have a pair of browning hydro fleece from the 90s. They are unreal. I gave 180 dollars for them back then. Worth every penny.
Yep that was them. Sitka, nomad, kuiu…all that stuff seems like crap after the quality and thickness of those
