What do y'all suggest? I bought a pair used on here last year and they have leaked since day 1. I am giving up on them and ready to just buy a new pair. What is the best bang for your buck? I have heard Red Head and Cabela's offer a lifetime warranty for leaks but didn't know if anyone had any dealings with them or not?

Cabelas brand waders!! I wore a pair 3 years stepped on a corn stalk and ran it threw my boot. I sent them back and they sent me a new pair. Had a friend do the same after 5 years of wear.

It must only be cabelas brand waders. I bought a pair of Columbia waders from them and they would not warrant them with less than a season I'm them.

Correct they were cabelas brand. We get the 1600 dura coat waders. I think they run about$220. But with the lifetime warranty they are worth it. Just keep up with your receipt or box or something.

Beware!! Cabelas no longer offers lifetime warranty on there waders, only 90 days. Learned the hard way this season with my super mags after wearing them for 4 years. Had small leak this season took them into bowling green cabelas. Said they no longer offer that on any waders, changed policy this year. I said okay, but I bought mine 4 years ago when you did. Didn't get anywhere, so I went home to call corporate and got the same run around.

I sent a 2 year old pair of cabelas waders back this summer and they sent them back to me saying they only had a 1 year warranty. After calling and stating the lifetime warranty was the only reason I bought them they sent me a refund. I still have another pair but I try to keep 2 just in case one starts leaking. I like the cabelas but am not sure I which pair I will buy next. Hope to catch some on sale soon. I have sent so many back to lacrosse they won't honor any warranty for me at all so I am definitely not buying that brand. I may try Rogers sporting goods brand.

I have a pair of redheads, haven't had any trouble with leaks yet, 3 years old. That said, I don't use them a ton, and not usually that hard on them hunting open water on lakes rather than in fields.

In my opinion, if you get more than two seasons out of a pair and wear them every hunt, you aren't hunting hard enough. :poke: :tu: Walk in timber is rough on them.

When I hunted a lot, I kept at least two pair...usually a lighter pair I caught on sale and a heavily insulated pair of Cabela's brand. Always 5mm neoprene...camo color didn't matter.

Rogers brand. I just had to buy a pair to replace some redheads that ended up being crap!! Got the rogers and they are AWESOME!!
