best replacement barrel?

I am toying with the idea of buying a custom barrel.. what do ya'll recomend? shilen ,douglas,or hart?

Of those three it would be a toss up between the Shilen and Hart in my book. I would rate the Douglas slightly below the other two. I've got a Douglas that I'm very happy with though. If you shop outside those three I'd get a Kreiger.

What caliber are you looking to chamber it in? If I was going with a .30 cal I'd go with a Bartlein.

hammer forged and button rifled barrels shoot well too.
