I didn't get many cam pics this year to share.
I was looking at photos from the past.
This has to be my best trail cam photo.
Bachelor group in August.
 
I'm with you, cam crashed this season so didn't get any photos, but three years ago, I had a plethora of great pics. Here's one of the better ones.

Trophy Rock... it was also something with the soil also.. it was red, seemed to attract a lot of deer.

I printed the one with the bobcat off back when you first posted it.
I have it hanging on my bulletin board above my desk.

EVERYONE that sees it asks all about it.
I would say the coolest trail cam pic ever.

With 100,000 to choose from (literally), you eventually get a few good ones!

But those are just pictures from my own place. I wish I could show some of the ones from my clients. They get some crazy stuff on camera from time to time. This year, I averaged analysis of 25,000 pictures per week. From August through January, analyzing trail-camera pictures is now 100% of my business.

I don't think a hobby would be fun for long if it became a job...

There are negatives with everything. Even running personal cameras. I couldn't really speak on it not being fun for long, but I would bet most trail camera consultants thoroughly enjoy what they do.

Another dream job would be Pat Howard's (camera operator for Covert). He runs 50-75 cameras year round
 
Here's a random picture since I went off topic. Not my favorite, but I'm contemplating framing it as the 2012 pic of my buck I shot this year

You certainly get real tired of staring at a computer screen for 8-12 hours a day. That's why I come on here several times per day; I need the mental break! Plus, adding up all the deer in all the pictures gets tedious. But analyzing all the data collected is very cool, if you're a data-head like I am. Plus, looking for similarities and differences between properties over time can be a lot of fun. What is "common" to most situations, and what is very unique to each location? Answering those questions is deciphering information no one else knows.

Writing about hunting, the essence of hunting, not strategy
is my dream job and something I am working towards.
Having a hunting show- would be a nightmare to me.
I don't see how those guys do it or why they would want to.

Sadly, the only way to get viewers for a hunting show is to have big buck kills in every episode. To get that many big buck kills on camera has led many a show down the road of seriously questionable ethics. I would no want to be involved with that.
