I'm looking at adding 1. Kimber 45

2. Taurus Judge

Why or Why not

be a truck or tractor carry gun, have a problem with a neighbor who is few short as we say, Army backgroung but retired, works civil service for Govt Contractor on post, he's a packer and he's nuts.

I have 88 acres, and was approved to build 3 homes on it, one of then being my personiall home. HE sneaks around the land "watching it"like its his, comes on my land any time he wants
likes to pass over he is so one with nature and the wildlife as a hunter.

He's sueing the county and me cause he was damamged in some way by them allow it to happen, hum guess he could still buy the land from me, he did go on record and say it was worth $9,000/acre...guess he needs to put up or shut up!!!

Really feel it could happen were he shows up and tries to go postal

So what do you think?

of the ones listed I would carry the 1911 all the time and have the AR or SOCOM in the vehicle at all times,,which is a good idea if you are expecting trouble or not..
 
mine has about 150 rounds through ti,,but it isnt for sale

well the rifle is a standoff weapon & if you end up shooting him with it & theres no powder burns on him somebody is going to say you sniped him,the judge with the 410 PD ammo in it & a shotgun with 00 buck for a little saftey margin.if somebody is intent/crazy enuf to take somebody else out a scoped rifle can be shot a long ways from cover & you wont have time to return fire with any weapon you may be carrying :( .this sounds like a bad situation & i hope you never have to deal with that guy past talking !

I'd have a man to man talk with him and tell him to stay off MY property. Next I would post my land with no trespassing signs. Then I would call the law that there is a trespasser on my land when he is on it.

Get you an FN P90 for self defense. 50 rounds of 5.7 bullets in a compact package.
 
He get's his official Letter send to the 2 different lawyers he has hired to stay off land, and camera's will go up, I've just been trying to finish moving from my house I sold into a rental until I get mint built. Have a sheriff dept. Dect. that lives in a house that was on the land, he's very aware of whats going on.

Usually have a XD in the truck, but really want a SOCOM, any one see a good deal let me know. The Mossberg, loaded with 8 rounds
is always under the bed, I do have a XD 9mm and a older Target 45 Kimber thats for sale.

SNL that here while in route to FT Riley says they all like the SOCOM over the AR in the SAND Pile

Forgot to say, owned the land for 4 years, was going to develop it but don't have the required 50' for road in 1 strip, just had cattle on it for 4 years. But he's been told to stay off many times, thinks he owns everything out that way, once I decided to build my home there in was ok until he found out I could built up to 3.

Hopefully it will get better, but the past doesn't make me think so, started to built some were else, but got pissed about it and wasn't going to let him run me away. Its a great tract, deer and turkey, plus I got the Red river frontage great for the kids and grand kids

Whats the trigger pull on your SOCOM?
 
If Im looking out for 2 legged snakes, I'd go Kimber because I have more rounds in the mag and can do quick reloads. No legged snakes? I'd go judge and bird shot
 
Find out what the legal requirement is for properly posting no trespassing signs and post them. As of now, this is a law enforcement issue, so get them involved. Start the paper trail now in case deadly force has to be used in the future. Get a good lawyer on retainer now, you will need him if you use deadly force.

As others have stated, .45 on hip, shotgun for close work, semi-auto rifle for distant work if needed.

And pray often.

about half of what my AR is,,it is a very nice weapon,,just dont expect MIA Super Match accuracy,,it is a point and shoot CQB rifle extrodanaire,,
