I've been using something VERY SIMILAR to that from Lone Wolf for years. Like most ideas, I've not found it as good as it sounded initially, but it does make the stand a little easier to carry.
You all have pretty much covered the features, so let me share a few "cons" that I believe will apply to this one same as the Lone Wolf.
1) It does add a little weight. Even 2 lbs is 2 more pounds.
2) What are you going to do with it while you're hunting? This is an ADDITIONAL item you're now carrying, and it has a fairly large "footprint". I don't like to leave it on the ground, don't like to leave it attached to the stand, and don't like it in the tree with me. Choose one.
3) You'll probably remove any other straps you had on a stand you're carrying. Then, you'll NEED this contraption to transport the stand. If you leave the stand in the woods, will you feel comfortable leaving this with it? If you're like me, sometimes you'll forget to bring it back, or you'll decide to move a stand when you don't have it with you.
I go back and forth between preferring to use or not to use.
