That would depend on plot location...
I like a good mix such as
15 Lbs crimson clover
5 lbs arrowleaf clover
5 lbs DER
50 lbs oats

But i'm really leaning more this way now due to i can produce more forage during winter, spring, and summer all in 1 mix and just plant 1 time a year in september
ridgetops
10 lbs arrowleaf
10 lbs red clover
1 lb chicory
50 lbs oats
bottoms
10 lbs arrowleaf
3 lbs ladino
5 lbs red
1 lb chicory
50 lbs oats

For bow season I like oats and winter peas. For late winter I like cereal rye and kale. These are my favourite annual fall plots, I strongly recommend however, planting some perrenials to supplement what you are doing. A good choice of perrennials would be ladino or durana clover, alfagraze or amerigraze alfalfa, or choice chicory. I would not plant these together as alfalfa is fickle and without chicory clover can be sprayed with a broadleaf selective hebicide.
The best food plot? the best maintained food plot.

Something that i have discovered through farming and deer management is that mixing your seed is not a good practice. I plant all of my plants in separate zones. This allows you to be site specific with your fertilizer (all plants require different types and amounts to grow) as well as allowing you to see which plants the deer in that area like. One of my typical fall plots will include a clover zone, a wheat zone, a brassica zone, some standing corn, winter peas, etc. You may discover that deer in some places will ignore certain plants that are supposedly favorites and in other areas, they will hammer them. Also, I plant the things that will peak early close to the stand site for bow season and the things that peak late across the plot.
