Anybody have any comments or recommendations on some of the products out there?

We are planning to manage some family land for hunting. Only problem for me is that the property is 4 hours away on a good day of clear traffic. Id like to be able to keep an eye on the food plots to get an idea of what hangs out in the area. Verizon has the strongest signal in the area.

I have one I built using a Nikon S800C and seems to work great. Put a Verizon Hot spot in there. First cellular based homebrew camera ever built. Emails me the pics about 3 minutes after they are taken. Been working great for about 90 days now.

How long does the Hotspot battery last?

Hot spot works on 3.7v so I hacked the battery terminals and run the hot spot on 3 c cells. Been going 90 days and still going.
