Jerkbaits cover water well and draw some big fish, but I've heard of some ridiculous fish coming on live trout and shad. Franlky, I'd say live trout...of course, that's going to bruise some folks, but just being honest here.

man, i have a cabin right by happy hollow, and we fish it alot. we catch most on night crawlers! with out a doubt! corn and salmon eggs is best for rainbows!

Fish at least one generator, if not two, and throw big suspending jerkbaits. Shouldn't take you too long. Best areas are directly related to the deeper holes, although they will get up and move around under consistent periods of high generation. Throw something with swagger.

too late now, they are pulsing....at least u know for a fact that there is a 10+ pounder in there if not a 35 incher which u will never see at low waters and hope that this can keep your faith up! gotta have faith in any fishing.
im hoping for rain

Caught many a big brown in the Caney on broken back and solid jerbaits, get a variety of sizes and colors and change often until you find what they like that day.
