I was wondering why berger bullets have a G1 coefficient and a G7 coefficient which one do you go by. I am shooting 210gr match VLD target

G7. So when you use jbm ballistics or whichever calculator you're using, select G7 so it uses that drag model. G1 is for flat base bullets. G7 is for boat tail bullets.

it has more to d with velocity,,as a bullet slows its BC comes down, the G7 figures that in and gives you better dope at extended range where you may be getting down under 1500 fps,,
