How much do you want to know? I think they are absolutely fantastic and I have yet to come across one that isn't a shooter.

Which model are you looking at? I have an HMR in 6.5, 3 B14 Timbers (6.5, 270 and 30-06) and a Premier Stalker in 30-06.

The Timbers are my favorite because the wood they use generally has really good figure and the fit and finish is fantastic, especially for a production rifle.

Here is my best group out of my HMR. My 6.5 Timber will shoot under 1/2" and my Premier STalker came with a test target, range qualified at .39"

Who's the best to buy from?

I would second Wittakers and also add Grabagun. Check each for pricing on the model you want as service from both is great.

I bought a B14 Timber from Whittaker's this week. I ordered it at 9PM on Tuesday the 27th. It arrived at my FFL on Thursday at 2PM. That was the free shipping option. Hard to beat that.

Interstate guns in Louisiana has been good to me. Free shipping and no fee for using a credit card. Ordered one day and it's in my city 2 days later. Supposed to pick it up tomorrow.

How do these rifles compare to Tikka? Those that have had both

I have always been a huge Tikka fan and cannot say anything bad about them. Everyone I have had has shot really well. If you are looking for a really lightweight rifle that will shoot and not break the bank they are fantastic.

That being said, I only have 1 Tikka but have bought 5 Bergaras in the past 13 months. The accuracy of the Bergaras is almost unbelievable for a factory rifle. They are heavier thank Tikkas for sure but the fit and finish is absolutely fantastic. The B14 line is soooo good that if I had to do it again, I would not have spent the money on my Bergara Premier Stalker and would have just bought a B14 and a Manners stock.

The other thing about Bergara is that their leadership team here in the US is absolutely phenomenal. They are all outdoor guys/shooters and really listen to their customers.

FOrgot to mention that one of the main reasons I like the B14 Timbers so much is that the wood stock fits me like a custom suit. In addition to the excellent wood with great figure, the finish is fantastic and it is a little beefier than a standard synthetic stock, which works better for me.
