I have an AICS 1.5 cassis with n Atlas Spigot mount bipod just sitting in the corner. Thinking bout getting a Bergera barreled action to put in it.
Has anyone shot the 18" carbon bbl and the 20" heavy stainless bbls to know which would be more accurate??
Weight is of no concern on this.

I figure it would come down to individual barrels but if one or the other has a reputation of being more accurate I'd go with that

I've had the Bergara B14R steel barrel and it held its own, with regards to accuracy against any factory rifle, what little I did shoot it, but never in competition, just practice for score. I sold it and it did well for the guy who bought it after he tested more ammo thru it, held his own during the matches with it. But the carbon barrels were notorious for having bad cold bore shots, and taking a couple more to "come in" after that, and in between mag changes it would be the same thing all over again. Just what I've seen and heard from them.

Eric I just picked up a b14 trainer, so far it's not as tight as my Cz was right out of the box. Changed trigger today and some better, factory one wasn't what we are used to for sure. I do like the feel and it runs flawlessly from the mags. More testing to do.
