I have a Benelli Nova pump. The only compliant I have is that it's extremely hard to pump. I'm sure p/o this is my stroke on my right side but it felt hard before the stroke. Anything i could do to improve this or is it a job for a gunsmith? Or is it just inherent to this gun? Do others have the same problem? THANKS!

To be fair, my Nova does pattern well and is dependable. I have a Benelli recoil reducer in the stock. 3.5 inch capable. Use it for geese and turkeys. It's just almost impossible to pump, especially from the shoulder(My 870 is much much easier to pump) Anyone who owns a Nova also have this problem??

I'm not familiar with those,
they have a great reputation.

To help a fellow member out though, I will ask what you'd take for it- just like it is?

I've got a compact 20 gauge and has proven to be tough as woodpecker lips. It did as you say one time and I stripped it down and cleaned the mud and gunk out of the "pump slide" and the bolt slide. Purred like a kitten ever since. This is a tool not a queen by the loosest of definitions
