Benefits of milo

Who has experience with Hunting milo ? My main field is milo and I'm not sure if it will produce the deer as beans and corn will. Will deer feed early or late season on this or just use for cover ? Are there really any benefits to planting milo over corn or beans?

Deer will eat the seedheads off sorghum, especially after a frost. Usually planted wgf from coop. Have not planted any the past few years, but I always knocked over some with the tractor to promote deer eating the seedheads and also to open up some lanes.
