If you had a rem 700 and was primarily just gonna shoot it off a bench what stock would you recommend? I really like the looks of the bell and carlson tactical medalist, but curious to see what everyones opionion is. The gun im shooting is the sps tactical I bought from rdl65 here. It currently has the factory overmolded houge on it. The stock feels really well to me just thinking I might like something different. Im sure any stock with a full bedding block would help but gun already outshoots me so it would just be more for cosmetics and comfort. thanks.

a bench gun needs a wide forend,at least 3 inches,,with a flat bottom rear stock,,I would look at Manners and others

A model #2958 B&C is what I used to have on that gun. I liked it really well and even though I never bedded it, it shot some pretty impressive groups.

Well I just ordered a bell and carlson tactical/varmit full adjustable stock for the 700. Got it black with grey spider web. Everybody seems to be backordered had to do some serious searching before I found this colorcombo at redhawkrifles. They said it should ship in the morning, cant wait.
