Went down there tuesday to smallmouth fish. Didn't do any good so headed to the ramp. Just as we were crossing the river a massive school of stripes starting feeding top water. Threw the ol skitter prop out n the girlfriend threw out a torpedo n we cleaned house! Then after that we seen a bunch of boats heading to the foot of the dam so we followed to see what was going on and all the sudden hybrids started jumping everywhere. I never seen anything like it. I found a new hobby lol. Anyways were going back tomorrow to make it the last trip before bow season. What triggers these fish to just come up n feed all at once? I'd like to get there early and be there when they start. We only caught the tail end of the action last time.
