He won't rule over college athletes or the administration the way he did at at New England……
I think he gets his rear kicked badly

I tend to agree. I think kids will want to play for him but don't see him lighting the world on fire

He will try. And it appears that the administration went over the ADs head in hiring him, so they, at least for now, have bowed to his demands. I thought these lines are was funny.

But on the surface, it doesn't appear that UNC AD Bubba Cunningham was the bus driver of this coaching search. According to multiple reports, including ones from ESPN, CBS and Sports Illustrated, UNC Board of Trustees Chairman John Preyer has been "the point man," "leading the charge," a "key advocate" for Belichick and "spearheaded" the hire. Steven Godfrey of the Washington Post characterized the search as "very messy," while a source told S.I.'s Pat Forde, "North Carolina is making Auburn look reasonable right now."

.....

In the last 24 hours two different people in the industry described the current North Carolina search as "Tennessee 2017."

Was gonna post this as I just saw it. Paying him $10 mil which is double what they were paying Mack Brown and he's 72 years old. First question is why not just enjoy retirement? Will be interesting to see how he does.
He's got that new young girlfriend to spoil . You know she's not with him for his looks, charm, or commitment to a relationship .

This is interesting. As good as he was for years when he lost brady that was not a very good team at all and he had control over the roster. It is a easy conference so he has that going for him. I don't think it's ever thar great personally but he may surprise me. Surprised nc went so old regardless of who it was. I mean maybe what? 5 years max before he retires or does he stay longer if it's decent? Not to mention now he has to recruit and honestly that seems like it would suck to do.

LOL

what he owes the school if he leaves for an nfl job drops to nearly nothing in like July before he ever coaches a game in college…

He will have a draw for the kids that want to play in the NFL since he has the NFL experience. I think he will do ok.

His old washed up wrinkly a$$ and college kids are going to go together about like a turd in a punch bowl
IDK about all that. I do think he loves to coach and it's clear the NFL has said they are done with him so he sees this as his last chance. So I love the passion. He's rich as heck so he has nothing to lose with this move. Worse case is he total flops and he rides this out in the sunset with his Hotties . OR he spends 3 years building a NC caliber team and makes a run for it. I admire him for it. Either way he's got my vote.

"I've built an empire of a brand with my coaching prowess but how can I tarnish my legacy and lose the respect of all? Oh I know! I'll date a child and coach college football at a mid-tier program in an effort to secure a HC position for my moron son. That'll do it!"
