Neighbor had a dog that LOVED to get them off your clothes for you. Those little front teeth took them right off and never a nip or bite.
 
I remember eating the seeds out of them when I was a kid. Probably wasn't a great idea but we thought we were cool

Lance, I sure wish that dog would've been around after this run! I threw the shirt away didn't even bother with it. Their pretty easy to get off the mule chaps I wear but the shirt was covered.
 
A few years ago I shot a young mule deer buck in UT. He rolled down a hill and picked up probably 1,000 small burrs.
I really wanted the hide, so I spent a couple of hours picking them all out. The finished hide turned out gorgeous, so it was worth it in the end.
 
If you think that's fun try dragging a burlap strip blind covered stand across a cockaburr field and then cleaning it out.

I ate hundreds of those things when I was a kid out rabbit hunting. Actually, I showed a 7-year old how to eat them a few days ago while out deer hunting. I'm sure her dad was thrilled. :D
