Anyone ever use em?How did they work?How far away from fruit trees did you place them?Just wondering if it helps keep em off the fruit trees or not.

They work by attracting beetles using a pheromone. Kind of like a red light district for beetles, but they don't get what they are expecting. Do not put them close to the trees because they will attract beetles from a long ways off. You don't want to attract beetles to your trees, you just want to attract them away from the trees.
Diehard Hunter is right. They will attract beetles from as far as half mile. Put them at least 100yds away and make sure it is down wind of the house. When those bags fill up they have a strong unpleasant odor. I wouldn't put they out till I start seeing several of them. It is to early for them now.
