I went to the bow shop yesterday and shot one of the new pse's and the new Mathews mission mxr. Man what a difference in those and my 20 year old High Country I have. I really liked the mission, and that's what I'm leaning tord at the moment. Does anyone shoot this bow or any other missions? Also I've found a used Mathews z7 extreme but they are asking $500 for it. They came out in 2011, is 8+year old Mathews really still worth that? Bow prices are crazy I have found out. The first one I picked up was a Hoyt for $1599 and I about sh!t.

What you will notice between the high country and any newer model is incredible. What you will notice between the MXR and a Z7 is a slight difference. The MXR is the same cam off of the Avail and the Stoke. They are very smooth drawing and the MXR is gonna be a lot lighter than the Z7. The draw back to getting a Z7 or Extreme is that they have a cam specific draw length and it's gonna be 90-100 bucks if the bow isn't your draw length.
