Been a while... creek smallies

Hadn't waded this stretch in several years, floated down with a canoe a year or two ago with Zach Markus. Definitely don't like to float it, some of the holes are small and you'll float right into em before you can fish em.

Anyway I got out there at 7:30 am and waded upstream as usual. I got out around 3:30pm. Fishing was kinda slow, but I caught 16, mostly smallmouth and spots, a couple largemouth and rock bass as well. 3.5 miles of peace and quiet, should have gone more this summer.

Haven't done a wade trip in years! Some of my fondest(and scary) memories were on wading trips with my dad. We've caught some big smallies in little creeks. It's a blast!
