Beef Fat

Was at Food Lion on Jackson in Cookeville and they had all kinds of beef fat (suet) on sale. Should be great for grinding in with deer burger…or adding to a deer roast when making birria. I bought 4 pounds that I'm fixing to put in the freezer for use in the future. Might go back tomorrow and see if they've got any left now that I've thought of other uses for it.

Food City gives it way for free, or at least they used to when we lived there.
Beef or pork, all we did was stop by the meat counter and ask them to save us some. Sometimes we had to remind them again. Think my wife helped things along by dropping off a tray of cookies in Sept and October.

I have always got it free at Kroger as well here in Hermitage and in local stores in Waverly.
