Beech Ridge WMA

I know that because of Turkey hatch was low last year because of various reasons, the turkey season was closed on the WMA. I wanted to know if the No Hunting restriction will apply to the deer season, I had been told that a draw to hunt deer may be in place. This is in Weakley County. Any info ?

Beech Ridge is a sub-unit of Obion River WMA. Regulations for this area are listed under Obion River WMA in the hunting guide. Last years turkey season on the area was not closed; it was a quota hunt. Next spring will be an open hunt but with restricted dates and a 1 turkey bag limit. The goal for these reduced seasons/bag limits is to protect the turkey populations in the West TN riverbottom WMA's and allow them to recover.
