Thought you might like this. I've always heard the mountain men ate them. Here is a little bit of historical reference to eating beaver tail. I think I'll pass, though.

Beaver isn't "fishy" at all. Its really more of a brisket taste than anything else.

Yup. Now I don't know about the tail, I've never tried it.
