Have got this guy on all 4 of my cams this year but this is the first day time pic. Seen him in person driving in one morning on the road right where my property starts. I have had him on cam for 2 years and a red one for several years. I know where there den is and can't believe i don't see them more often. He would make a pretty mount but not sure i would have the heart to shoot it after seeing it for so long.

 
Grey. I have a den of reds near my backyard and see them a couple times a week. Knock off all that fur and they look like they only weigh 10-12 pounds.

Great pic, and I love seeing them too. In my 40 years of hunting I can say that foxes are one of the creatures I see the "least"........dang they are reclusive!!

they are reclusive, but I used to see them all the time when I started hunting in the early 80's. By the late 80's, the coyotes had taken over and now I'll only see a fox every 5th or 6th year. I assumed the coyotes just outcompeted them for food sources and their population had plummeted.

X2 I used to see foxes all the time. No all i see is dang yotes.
