Went to check cameras on the farms today. Stopped by one we've got up for sale. No cameras there but before I left I figured I'd go look at salt block and see if they were hitting it. Found my ladder stand laying on the ground. Figured squirrels had chewed the strap and walked on by. I looked up as I came out and realized my holder was gone out of the tree. Got to looking for straps and realized no straps or pull up rope. This stand bolts together all the ladder sections. Guess they realized after they laid it down and was gonna come back with tools. At least they saved me the trouble of unstrapping it and laying it down.

Nothing worse than walking in and finding your stand destroyed or stolen cause I guess they didn't bring tools to finish the theft.

Ruined my attitude on the season too.

Put out an old junk camera where they can find it... and another high and hidden they won't see because they stop looking after the first one.

This!

There was a problem with dumping right at the gate of a property where I hunt... made a fake wireless camera out of an ammo can, some projector parts, and a CB antenna, chained it up in a tree where they could see it, and dumping stopped. The fake cam has had several holes shot in it since then, though, I think the deception is over :)
