bear stick on rest vs shooting off shelf which do yall prefer ? pros and cons of both ?

The plastic finger rest or the rug rest?
I take the shelf with some sort of covering. Bear rug, hair rest, soft part of Velcro or leather, all with a side plate. The little finger can break with time. If the bow is tuned to the shelf rest, you don't have to worry about the finger in the heat of the moment.

Just go with the bear hair rest or something similar, best option in my opinion.
