Need some advise here on a problem that could be a bigger problem...
Our archery club (Cherokee Bow Hunters Club) in Laurel Bloomery, Tn has a shoot once or twice a month. Last month we noticed 4 targets torn all to heck and saw claw and teeth marks in the targets. These target are Rhineheart targets and there abut $400.00 each. Well to say the least some members were mad as heck and wanted to shoot the bear or try too. We talked them out of that for now which could become the bigger problem. I don't want any of our members to get in any trouble cause they are mostly hunters and we know what that would lead to. So want do you guys recommend we do?
We have a shoot this weekend and we are going to spray the targets with ammonia, someone said that will keep a bear away....But that's not good for our targets. I'm in a jam here keeping the guys from doing something stupid. But we can't keep loosing this kind of money. Please advise. :bash:
