Bear in Middle TN

I just got a text from a friend that someone he knows who happens to be a hunter, spotted a bear behind Lowes on Charlotte Ave in Nashville this morning. I am very skeptical but is it possible Bears have migrated to middle TN from the Big South Fork?

Bears are very mobile. I have a friend in Gamaliel, Ky that had a sow and cubs on property he owned. Usually if the are a sow and cubs then there is a resident population at least starting. Males wander all over the place this time of year. A few years ago a bear from Arkansas traveled all over the western half of the state.
