Where can I find info on the 2015 season? Do you have to enter a quota hunt or just buy a tag?

I did find the TWRA page from 2014 and it appeared not to be quota hunts just make sure your in the right area on the right date with the right method?

The 2015 statewide bear hunting regulations are found on page 30 of the 2015-16 Hunting Guide.

With the exception of some hunts on the South Cherokee WMA, it does not require being drawn. And, it does not require a special tag. Your big game license for whatever weapon you choose to use (plus the Type 01 combo) and a permit for a WMA if hunting there is all you need. The type 94 permit that is also used for the Special Season Antlerless hunts covers you for the North and South Cherokee WMA as well.
