I was wondering if anyone has been hunting the mtn? And if anyone is seeing any action. I plan on making a trip over there this weekend .

Iv only made a few trips and haven't seen any. But have heard a bunch of people kill some.

I camped and hunted there the weekend of rifle opener. I saw four doe way down the side of the mountain but that was it. Had two people hunted with me and they didn't see any deer. Talked to a Warden the last day and he said their rut doesn't start till the end of December. We plan on doing an all day hunt again at the end of the month.

I hunt there a lot and have not seen a deer since opening of muzzleloader. Probably go Sunday afternoon if the rain holds off.

I drive a truck across there a couple times a week and have only seen a few vehicles parked on the side of 16.

Did some scouting early morning not seeing much buck sign. Hunted afternoon..rain moved in about 1.5 hour before dark...no deer. May sleep in tomorrow

Me and my dad hunted this morning and we did see a whole lot of buck sign. Heard several shots this morning but we didn't see a thing but tree rats. Oh well it was still fun. Love hunting that Mtn. Hopefully things will start to pick up. I plan on hunting there the rest of the season. Good luck to the rest of you guys that hunt there.
