Has anyone ever ever hunted and camped at Bear Hollow in Franklin County? Any info on deer population or campground info would be greatly appreciated!!!

That is what we are considering. We used to go to Cheatham a lot but it has declined a lot and they do not allow does to be taken during rifle season. We will have a few youngsters with us this year so I would at least like the option on some freezer meat.

I went down there last year to just take a look. It seemed to be big woods where if you aren't walking downhill your walking up hill. We didn't see a lot of deer sign but I'm not the best at seeing that stuff anyways. There was a big chunk of woods that belonged to a hunt club. That doesn't bother me I would just hate to shoot a deer and it run into that club.

Some of the biggiest bucks in the county are there. It is rough country. When you are hunting you have to park in disignated areas. I have seen rubs as big as my thigh in there. I have killed a couple of 130" deer from there. We have seen bigger deer in there. I live 15 minutes from there. As far as killing does you can only kill one a day. Most people won't walk in too far.
