ok i want to hunt bear this year. i don't have dogs so i will want to stand hunt.what publick land can i hunt for them.i live in anderson co. and mom lives in sevier so any place will work thanks

You can stand hunt during any bear season wherever it is open. The best public lands would be the Cherokee National forest and foothills WMA.
