Beans doing good

Even though I have small plots and chase the deer out they are not doing bad. They do provide a ton of food.

Your looks alot better them ours. We had one 2 acre plot of eagles that died, and another 2 acre plot that is just barely hanging on. They were planted about a week apart.

That's a drag. I started planting a lot earlier the last few years. It's helped with the additional spring rain before summer drought sets in.

Mine our right with yours I have high hopes but will see. Sure would feel a lot better if we got a soaker ASAP!

Yeah, except the ridge tops. I will plant something else up there from now on. I don't have enough soil to hold moisture. I am going to try to build the soil up for a few years and try again. Maddies plot is doing ok but I should have broadcasted more beans on it, very thin. The long plot in the bottom is doing good as well I have some beans as high as the middle of my thigh. That one gets a lot of pressure but adding the plot in the pic has helped the others.

Yep, chiseled it, broadcasted and then disced them in.

Well, i hate to hear the upper plots didnt do as well. Maybe if we had some rain every month or two they would have done better! lol
