what would be a couple good baits for me to improve my bass catches i fish only a couple creeks around here ranging from a foot to maybe 5 in places so nothing to deep all i really have now is a couple roostertails and a cheap bigger buzz bait and spinnerbait from wally world. i got a spoon and several plastics gave to me are they good for what i want to do?

and also i have been wanting to try some perch and i have skined bass before like catfish can i do a perch that way or do you have to scale them?

I would try some small crawfish immitations.
I don't keep any kinda fish, less'n they big enuff to fillet.
Interesting....never heard of skin'n a bass like ya would a cat...didn't know ya could.

watermelon colored rooster tails with catch the Red Eye like crazy. I fish shoal creek quite a bit being I used to live in Loretto and you cant beat rooster tails. Broken Black minnows (silver) will wear them out also.
