Went fishing this afternoon at the pond near the house.
Specifically targeted "big" bass today. (anything over a pound)
Started with a buzz bait..... nothing
Green pumpkinseed brush hog...... nothing
Brown pumpkinseed lizard with chart tail.....nothing
Silver / black minnow....nothing
White fluke... two small bites (probably bream) and caught a 6" bass.
Said pee on it after about an hour and got the ultralight out of the truck and a box of wax worms.
14 bream and a crappie in 20 minutes.
Strange.
