Bass Hunter: Meet Texas

My 10 year-old went bought a Bass Hunter 120 from Southern Outdoor Technologies in MS last month. We fished a private lake one morning and one afternoon in west TN, but were limited since it wasn't registered.

Got it home and registered in TX finally, so we took it to a local lake for it's maiden voyage Fri morning.

Lil feller caught his PR 4.34 on

first cast with topwater. I caught 4.66 and him a 2.80. Not too bad for the slowest fishing time of the year for down here.

There are three large gators that were hanging around. One has to be pushing 12', the others probably not to far from 10'.

No thanks on fishing with gators as big as the boat
