bass boat vs boat wake

pretty tuff boat! Wonder if there were any cracks in the transom from the lateral force on the motor lower unit when it hit the water sideways?

Glad I survived my 20's - I pulled a few stupid moves in bass boats at 65-75 mph back in my youth and got away with them.

What a ride, I too have been lucky. I used to have a 21 ft Bullet that would GPS 81 and I took some pretty wild rides in it!
I have since moved on to the better ride and fishability instead of the speed. Dude was lucky for sure, especially with no helmet on.

Ditto to the Moron!!!!! That is stupid!!!! I'm glad he's ok but damn how stupid do you have to be.

Video keeps talking about wearing your lifejacket. It should also say don't be an idiot on the water.

Had a similar experience on Center Hill one day during a tournament. I had mine up on pad running about 65 and went to make a little turn and the wind picked the front end up and the boat broke loose. We skidded sideways and completed a 180 before the hull caught the water. The boat rolled up and would have gone over if the wing of my Hydrasport had not been there to deflect it back down. Boat was full of water. I exercise a little more caution now but still run hard in rough water.
