Gonna pick me up some barrel swivels to use when trout fishing with a spoon.

Figure that would be a good way to get rid of at least some of the line twist.

Using a 2/5 oz lure, what size swivel would you get?

I have no clue about them, never used them for anything before?

i throw a 1/4 oz. spoon with my ultra light set up on a 4 lb. test without a swivel and it does fine.....but the bigger 3/4 oz krockadile spoon a swivel is a must, but its on a thicker line.....thiner line you get more give on memory on the line than a thicker line. this is on a spinning reel...

Sampo swivels are the way to go. Others may or may not swivel, there's a reason why they are priced less than Sampo's.
