Anybody shooting barnes bullets? Whats your thoughts on them,Im looking to try a new bullet his year,away from the Hornady FPB,and the Barnes gets very good reviews everywhere I look.

Love them. Have shot 3 bucks this year, 2 in Tn and 1 in Kansas, and none of them took a step. Little pricey compared to some others but worth it IMO.

The Barnes Bullets are just down right awesome. You get what you pay for.

I have not yet tried them, I have a new package on the bench. Have heard nothing but good reports about them, besides the cost.

I'll have to get me a pack..WHich bullet do you guys reccomend. I also picked up 2 different packs of shockwaves up at walmart last night on clereance.Gonna give those a try also.
the 300 exp is my choice, incredibly accurate and drops em in in their tracks. especially @ 2200 fps

I use the 250 TEZ in one, the 290 TEZ in one, and the 250 Expander in one. They are no friend to deer.
I do shoot the 200 grain ShockWave in one Knight, but that's my 200+ yard gun. I don't get to use it often, I seem to hunt in the woods mostly. The Shockwave don't seem to pack near as much punch as the Barnes. The Barnes pretty much Bang-Flop'em.

Thats what I like "bang flops"..And I have yet to shoot a deer with my muzzleloader and have a bang flop like I do when I shoot em with my 30-06.
